At Berry Best, your safety and well-being are our top priority. Starting Monday, February 1st, Berry Best will allow its customers and visitors to dine-in and sit at the shop. BB also offers mobile delivery via DoorDash and Uber Eats. The shop will remain open during normal business hours. We have always implemented good hygiene and infection control practices, but it is important that you are made aware of our infection prevention measures for COVID-19:

-- Owners including visitors must wear masks at all times due to their legal obligation. Exceptions include: Children under five and medically unable.

-- Promote frequent and thorough hand washing, including by providing ourselves (the owners) and everyone else with a place to wash their hands. We will have flyers throughout the store on the hand washing steps (can't forget the 20-second rule) advised by the Oakland County Health Division.

-- Encourage respiratory etiquette, including covering coughs and sneezes.

-- Using EPA approved disinfectants, we maintain regular housekeeping practices, including routine cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces, doorknobs, countertops, equipment, the restroom and all other elements of the work environment.

-- Wear gloves at all times, including when providing orders.

-- Ensure that shop capacity is no more than 50% and visitors stay six feet apart from each other.

10% of sales will be donated to Direct Relief to provide PPE equipment and essential medical items to health care workers responding to COVID-19.

Forbes recognized Direct Relief as 100% efficient in fundraising and among the top 10 charities in the U.S.

In addition, all health care workers will receive 15% off their entire purchase (must show valid proof via ID, email address, etc.)

If you’re having symptoms, please stay home and first call to make a health appointment. You can call your primary care provider or the Coronavirus Beaumont hotline: 248-551-7000. If you don’t have a primary care provider, you can call the Public Health Oakland County nurse hotline at 800-848-5533. Oakland County is now offering drive-through COVID-19 testing for all residents with or without symptoms.
